Skin Candy: Technical Training for Beginners
The Skin Candy basic training covers everything you need to know about hair removal, Skin Candy products, the Candying technique, xylitol, as well as selling and marketing the products and treatments.
We will also practise together via camera. You can bring a model to practise on, or, if you prefer, you can practise the technique on yourself. After the training, we recommend continuing to practise as much as possible at home or in your salon. If you are bringing a model, please have them arrive at 12:45 PM.
📩 The course materials will be sent to you by email on the day before the training.
🎥 The training will be recorded, and all participants will receive a link by email to watch the recording after the course. The recording will be available for one week, after which it will be removed from the recording service.
Trainer
Tuija Loukimo is a healthcare professional who has fallen in love with the sweet world of Candying and has worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years. Tuija is a qualified sports massage therapist and holds a Bachelor of Health Care degree in Emergency Care and Nursing. She is passionate about providing holistic treatments and helping her clients feel good and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Who is the training for?
Cosmetologists, foot care professionals and massage therapists already working in the beauty and wellness industry.
For the training, you must have at least the following Skin Candy products:
- 1 x soft Skin Candy paste (Smart Soft, Mimosa or Mimosa Soft)
- 1 x firmer Skin Candy paste (Smart Hard, Cookie or Chap)
- 1 x Candying Dust
- 1 x cleansing product (Cleansing Gel or Skin Cleanser Caramel Lotion)
- 1 x moisturising lotion (Smoothing Lotion or Caramel Body Lotion)
If you do not yet use Skin Candy products, we offer several starter package options. For those starting professional hair removal, we recommend the Skin Candy Box Pro.
